1963-1972 C10 Bolt-on Step Notch Kit

This bolt-on step notch kit for 1963-1972 C10 trucks is 100% bolt-on and a breeze to install. With it's unique and innovative mounting design you’ll get the same advantages of a weld in frame notch without all those expensive tools and inconveniences. This notch features the same contoured as the factory frame rails where the chassis tapers in around the center line of the axle.

With the main notch pieces bolted to the chassis, they’ll keep your frames geometry in place while you cut out the stock frame section. Then you simply bolt up the two inner pieces and now you have a bolt-in step notch that fully boxes your frame and provides the strength of a weld-on kit.

The notch depth will allow the vehicle to run up to a 29.8" overall diameter tire and still lay out. There's even a bump stop mounting hole provided inside to aid in installation of a bump stop.
